| The Duchess Bakes A Cake: The Musical |
We took our musical theater program on the road in the Spring of 2015 to Claremont School in Ossining. This 3rd and 4th grade group met after school for 10 weeks. The class worked on different kinds of theater skills and then began rehearsals for the musical "The Duchess Bakes a Cake". This ensemble production featured 12 actors and actresses telling the story of a duchess who was bored and she baked a cake so big that she got stuck on top of it. The group got to perform their show for their friends and parents both in school and after school. They also did an extra production at the Ossining Village Fair in June of 2015.
