Since it's inception, the Mike Risko Music School has been giving students the opportunity to play in bands. Whether it is a jazz band, rock band or a classical quartet, the goal is to put musicians of similar ages and levels together to make music. Then, give them the opportunity to play a show of their own.
Group classes and workshops enable students to learn to interact with other students while increasing self confidence and getting better at music. These classes give students the opportunity to perform on a regularly in different settings. The bands give musicians at all levels, a great way to use what they are learning in their lessons as well as the chance to socialize. Students can choose from classes like Rock Band Workshop, Jazz Band Workshop, Vocal Performance Workshop, Classical Workshop and more. Classes are available for all ages, including adults. Some classes are offered each session while others are offered as a one-time workshop.
