In June of 2021 we brought live musical theater back to Mike Risko Music. After more than a year of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we looked challenge right in the eye and said, it's time to make musical theater happen again and we can do this safely. Wearing masks, socially distanced, we created an outdoor stage and began to work. The challenges that we faced were new, like weather, traffic, running away from bees, singing with masks and staying 6ft apart, but we made it work. Each new challenege made us stronger, smarter and more creative than we were before as we found different ways to do a musical during a pandemic. The cast learned to work together to make musical theater happen and they did an incredible job making great friends along the way. We are so proud of this performance that would never have happend without this resilient group of kids and their supportive parents. It was the perfect show because the sun really did come out and these kids did a fabulous job.
