Our staff, the team at Mike Risko Music, is an amazing group of talented, professional musicians. They come from all different musical backgrounds and schools like Berklee, Purchase, NYU, Mannes, Boston Conservatory of Music and Ithaca college and more. They travel to us from all over Westchester and New York City. Some of them even work virtually from California and Colorado. They are versed in many different styles of musicand perform on many different levels.
They embody our company culture, customers always come first and should be treated like rock stars and family. Our world class team offers the highest quality of service.
Our teachers are trained to teach our curriculum and philosophy. Students study important fundamentals of music while teachers focus on each student’s unique strengths. Parents are guided through the practice process and supported through training which helps them work with their children at home. We believe in incorporating contemporary music into our curriculum as well as the classics. Each and every student is given individual attention and many opportunities.
Our friendly and helpful administrative and music store staff is always available to help all our students and guests.
