Mike Risko Music at Local Sporting Events |
Mike Risko Music is proud to work with Ossining Little League Football and Ossining Baseball to provide live music for some of their events. We had several students sing the National Anthem at Football Games this fall. It was really exciting to be a part of the game under the lights in October or to be at the early morning games at AMD Middle School. In addition to singing the Star Spangled Banner, we also had a group of kids from our Aladdin cast sing "A Whole New World". The singers prepared to sing the National Anthem for these events with one of our vocal coaches. Since it is one of the most challenging songs to sing, the students put in a lot of time to make sure they were ready.
In addition to the providing a student for the Football games, The Mike Risko Band did the National Anthem at Opening Day for Ossining Baseball which was located at Vets Park and they also did the National Anthem at the Harlem Magic Masters Game which was run by the Ossining PTA's and held at Ossining HIgh School in April of 2015.

| Mike Risko Music offers a special training workshop for singers who are interested in singing the National Anthem at sporting events or other important events. In this workshop, singers learn how to sing the Star Spangled Banner with ease and confidence. We help them find the right key and the right way to sing it so it highlights their voice while conveying the very important message that this song is known for. Part of the workshop focuses on microphone technique and projecting the voice into the mic the right way. For more information on how to register for this workshop or if you need a singer to sing the National Anthem at an event, contact us anytime at 914-762-8757.
