4 or 5 Piece Electric Band |
MR Entertainment can provide you with a four or five piece electric band consisting of guitar, bass, drums, & vocals (male &/or female).
What can I expect? The band breaks down to a three piece jazz trio for your cocktail hour. While your guests dine on appetizers, they can enjoy the smooth sounds of guitar backed by the solid rhythm section of MR Entertainment's bass player and drummer.
As your guests file into the dining room for dinner, the instrumental jazz group joins the two vocalists for some funky dance music and some contemporary pop and rock. Guests can dance before, during and after dining, taking breaks only to eat or slow dance to some softer rock music. The band plays several dance sets dispersed with background music while guests are seated. There is continuous music all night as recorded music is played during the breaks through the PA system.
If jazz isn't what you are looking for during your cocktail hour, we can provide contemporary acoustic rock as an alternative.
Evolving from the popular Westchester bar band Lucy's Frantic, this band continues to play rock and contemporary pop but is now available for all kinds of events. The nature of this band has always been to entertain people with popular, dance, and classic rock music. Throughout the years they have had so many requests to do weddings and other private functions that they added more of the necessary material to their set list and booked some shows, but they are not a typical wedding band. This band will provide you with all the music you need to have a great celebration while making sure that you are the center of attention and that the band is just enhancing the experience.
