Moms Night at the Mike Risko Music School
The Mike Risko Music School will host your group of Moms for a fun evening out! We are happy to donate this free event to groups and organizations to use as a fundraiser. It is also a fun and different way to get a group of Moms together so you can bond with your friends and learn to rock!
Moms night consists of a group guitar lesson for you and fifteen of your closest friends. After the guitar lesson, hang out for light snacks and good conversation. We recommend that you bring a guitar but if you don't have one, you can borrow one of ours. Whether you play guitar, have played guitar or have never even picked up a guitar, you will leave playing several chords and a complete song at the end of the evening. We even welcome one or two moms to volunteer to get up and sing the song at the end of the night. Remember, it isn't hard to learn some basic guitar. It is a great way to try out the instrument, try out the instrument so you can have an intelligent conversation with your child about playing it, or just learn to be cool! We even take requests for songs, however we try to pick something in the genre that all the attending moms would be interested in!
We have provided moms nights for educational foundations, nursery schools, parish groups, synogogues and more. If you are interested in coming to us with a group of your favorite mom friends, let us know! Also, we are happy to offer this event to other groups, for example, Dads! Call us with all your creative ideas.
If your group is scheduled to come to us, please visit contact & directions for info on directions and where to park.
