Mike Risko Music Gives Back

At Mike Risko Music, we are passionate about supporting our community through music. Having grown up in Westchester County—Mike in Yorktown and Miriam in Ossining—giving back to the local community is deeply personal to us.

We are proud to partner with schools, nonprofits, municipalities and local and national organizations to provide musical entertainment, services, and donations that enrich the lives of those around us. While we only take on a few projects each year, we encourage you to submit a request. If we can help, we will gladly work with you to make it happen.

What We Offer

  • Live Musical Entertainment: Performances for events like fundraisers, fairs, and ceremonies
  • Donations: Instruments, lessons, and gift certificates for raffles or silent auctions
  • Special Programs: Custom music activities or workshops for schools, scout groups, or community events
  • Guitar donations to Greenburgh 11 School District

Our Ongoing Community Involvement

Mike and Miriam also actively contribute to their community in leadership roles:

  • Mike Risko is on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) and serves on the Executive Board of the Ossining Chamber of Commerce. He is also a former member of the Ossining Arts Project.
  • Miriam Risko is a former member of the Ossining PTA and served on the Executive Boards of the Ossining PTA Council (including the role of President for 2 years), Ann M. Dorner Middle School PTA, and Ossining High School PTSA. She is also a former Girl Scout leader.
