Located in Ossining, New York, Mike Risko Music has been the go-to music destination in our community for nearly three decades. We house a music school, a retail music store, instrument repair and rental services, and offer musical entertainment.
Our experienced and educated staff at Mike Risko Music School strive to develop the musical skills and talents of our students through private lessons, classes, workshops, and frequent recitals.
Our Mission
At Mike Risko Music School and Store, we provide top-quality instruments, rentals, repairs, and music lessons on all instruments and voice for all ages and levels. Our offerings also include musical theater and rock band programs, and we are home to the Mike Risko Band. Committed to our community, we support local organizations with live music events and revitalize used instruments through our Musical Instrument Donation Program, getting them back into the hands of new players. We strive to foster a love of music, empower individuals, and build a stronger, more inclusive community through music.

Individual Music Lessons
Mike Risko Music School offers a range of in-person music lessons for students of all ages. Group Classes and Workshops
Group classes and workshops enable students to learn to interact with other students while increasing self confidence and getting better at music. Students can choose from classes like Rock Band Workshop, Jazz Band Workshop, Vocal Performance Workshop, Classical Workshop, and more. Classes are available for all ages, including adults!
